If you and I dissolved into nature,
I'd be the sand, and you'd be the sea.
A blink of your eye washes over me.
Your wet kisses soothe me.
The weight of your heart beats against me.
Your soul stays with me as a thin shimmering promise,
And with each ebb and flow, I remain.

Gravity

I met a girl not of this world

And she sends me to the moon

When my sun subsides

She knows just how to send me right back home

She shines for me

I can see her best at night

Never want to say good night

And I know she wants me to see

I know her world is bigger than mine

So the gravity pulls her down

Her direction is unknown

As she spins around

She keeps spinning...

Wanting to orbit something real

Does she feel as much as me

When she's fighting gravity all the time

Hang on to me and feel

The subtle simple flame of breath upon your face

You're starting to see

That scattered light shines differently

From you to me, the colors change from red to green

I long to see that the space between us dissipates

At escape velocity

Just try to break free to me

Now open up your eyes

There's so much for you to see

You've got to save me

Because you're stronger than me now

But I know on this earth you're like me

You want to feel the simple things

Glad I could save you from your gravity

Everything can now flow free

Now our love is just the same

Like the speed of light it can't change

The sun aligns with you and me

While the universe keeps changing
